We currently have an opening for a Quality Auditor.

General Summary:
Provides audit services in support of; registration, regulatory, customer, contract, and internal business process conformance to product/process requirements.

Specific Responsibilities and Duties:
•Performs detailed quality system surveillance audits, which includes hosting and/or scheduling audits (customer, regulatory, ISO/AS certification); reviewing documentation, processes and conformance/non-conformance to standards/requirements. Determines auditing methods and tools to be used. May provide special audit services for unplanned or particular business unit audit/requirement.
•Conducts pre and post audit reviews with management to assure understanding of requirements, audit process, and findings.
•Documents findings, summarizes key results, writes reports and presents information to individuals or groups as required.
•Ensures schedules met, provides assessment of risk levels and ensures corrective action follow-through by process owner. Creates and/or implements actions to prevent future non-compliance or escapes.
•Creates/updates audit tools (such as check lists, value stream maps, root cause corrective action, trend evaluations and gap analysis) used to measure the quality management system performance.
•Based on gaps/risk determined from system surveillance, initiates process improvements and/or changes to quality manual procedures.
•Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
•Experience in aerospace quality systems a plus.

Minimum Education/ Skill Requirements:
•4-year degree, preferably in business administration or related, plus professional training/certification as Quality Auditor; or equivalent related experience.
•Knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations, AS9100, ISO 9000 is preferred.
•Displays excellent judgement in assuring that requirements are operating as intended, without finding fault in every minor error. (sees the big picture)
