RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting directly to the Manager, Program Management Office (PMO) and responsible for the management, performance and timely completion of new programs. Directs a cross-functional team on a matrixed basis through program phases that start with program proposal and end with introduction to production. Creates budgets for non-recurring activity and ensures that these budgets are adhered to, and that results are reported. Monitors and administers program schedules. Evaluates impact of customer-directed changes or issues and works with customer and internal Korry organizations to resolve appropriately. Monitors and manages program risks. Schedules and leads program meetings, including team meetings, design reviews, TCM’s and PRR’s. Provides leadership to the development team to meet recurring cost targets.

REQUIREMENTS

Requires either a college degree and familiarity with Korry products and procedures; or a high degree of familiarity with aerospace and defense as an industry and has previous program management experience. Strong leadership skills are needed to lead matrixed teams through the various activities and issues that face new programs efforts.
