We currently have an opening for a HR Specialist, Recruiting. Overview – Initially this is an individual contributor position with primary responsibility for Recruiting and Staffing. Secondary responsibilities include other, senior-level HR work in the areas of Affirmative Action Plans and Applicant Tracking Systems. Reports directly to the Vice President, Human Resources. Minimum Requirements: -Senior HR professional with five to eight years experience, specializing in exempt level technical and management recruiting. -Primary relationships with directors, mid-level managers & supervisors, and the HR Staff. -Has responsibility to comply with Esterline standards, programs, systems and policies. -Professional, exempt position. -Skilled in Esterline competencies for individual contributors; Customer Focus, Ethics and Values, Problem Solving, Integrity and Trust, Listening, Action-oriented, Composure, and Values Diversity. -Four-year undergraduate degree and previous recruiting required. We Prefer: -Senior, highly-experienced HR professional with strong background in recruiting. -Some experience implementing ATS systems highly desired, especially Open Hire. -Bachelors degree and/or professional certifications, e.g., PHR, SPHR, et al. -Affiliation and/or membership in SHRM, EMA, or other recruiting associations. -Some experience in other HR functional areas of new hire orientation, performance management, employee development, diversity, affirmative action, organizational development and legal compliance, etc. -Strong consulting & coaching skills; effective advisor to peer HR staff, management and employees across a variety of business issues -Power user in resume databases and search engines, such as Monster, Dice, AIRS, etc., ATS or applicant tracking systems, HRIS systems, Excel or Access and/or other relational data base software.
