We currently have an opening for a Quality Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Korry is looking for a talented quality engineer that will perform complex tasks to develop, apply and maintain quality requirements for processing electro-mechanical components and final assemblies.  Under limited supervision, designs and implements methods, plans and procedures for testing and inspecting the quality level of products to ensure the necessary product performance criteria are met.  Recommends corrective action for procedural, product or process deficiencies.  Provides input for reports and returned products, and recommends corrective action.  Interfaces routinely with customers on technical/quality issues. Participates in qualification efforts. Supports new product development and participates in customer proposals.

REQUIREMENTS

A BS degree in an engineering discipline.

Previous experience in ISO9001/AS9100 a plus.  An understanding of lean manufacturing techniques, team problem solving, risk analysis, and FAA regulatory requirements desired.  Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills. Eight years quality engineering experience required. ASQ CQE preferred.
