Our Chromalux switches and indicators have long been standards in military and commercial aerospace whenever sunlight readability was an absolute requirement. Our products deliver bright, uniform legends, readable in direct sunlight – while maintaining low surface temperatures. Conversely, when legends are not energized, our proprietary optics and non-reflective coatings prevent illusory “ghosting” in sunlight.
Our understanding and control of all the optical elements – light sources, reflectors, diffusers, and filters – allow us to offer sunlight-readable displays using technologies not traditionally noted for image contrast, such as AMLCDs and LEDs.
